Rearrange the furniture-- and fall out of bed?

During the design and construction of new projects, I am frequently asked to select the best light switch locations for each living space relative to anticipated furniture placement when the project is complete. This is a minor but important detail among thousands of decisions interior designers make for their clients.

What if owners wish to rearrange or add furniture in the future?  Will those switches still be in the correct locations, or will clients fall out of bed looking for them in the dark?  We found a possible solution to that problem-- without having to call an expensive electrician.

Take a look at this delightful youtube video about Gecko Movable Light Switches.  Why didn't I think of this?
